In the second season, Jackie acts as an advocate for Olivia Baker, she becomes her friend during the trial of the case of Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District. Olivia offers for her to move in with her, after learning that she is living in a motel. They spend almost two weeks together, while they bond over their losses. She leaves the Bakers' residence after Sarah Carlin's testimony about Hannah bullying her at their previous school.
Jackie had a daughter who killed herself because she was bullied, so her aim in life is to help other parents with children who have committed suicide due to bullying win cases.
Throughout the Series
As the trial of the case of Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District is about to commence, Jackie stands outside the courthouse talking to Olivia Baker, to make sure she is ready. They go into the courthouse and Jackie tells her she will be her strength, she'll be the only person in the room who knows what she is going through, at this point we assume that she has lost her daughter to suicide because of bullying.
Jackie is warm towards Olivia, while also defending her. She is trying to move on after the suicide of her daughter. She tells Olivia not to have too many regrets.
Jackie is a pale woman with shoulder-length blonde hair. She usually wears motherly clothes.
